What is the EPR target for plastic packaging producers in India?

Under Plastic Waste Management Rules 2022, EPR targets increase progressively — reaching 100% collection and recycling of plastic packaging by FY 2024-25. Targets are set separately for rigid plastic packaging, flexible plastic packaging, multi-layer plastics and carry bags. Non-compliance results in mandatory purchase of EPR certificates at a penalty rate. We calculate your precise obligations and manage compliance accordingly.

Can you recycle multi-layer plastic packaging (MLP)?

Multi-layer plastics pose a challenge for mechanical recycling due to the difficulty of separating bonded polymer layers. We route MLPs to authorised co-processing facilities (cement kilns, waste-to-energy plants) or chemical recycling (pyrolysis) operations that are authorised to accept these materials. EPR certificates can be generated from these processing routes for compliance purposes.

What quality of recycled plastic granules can you supply?

We supply recycled PET (rPET) granules in food-grade and non-food-grade quality, recycled HDPE in natural and coloured grades, recycled PP in various flow rate specifications and recycled LDPE film granules. Quality specifications including melt flow index, contamination levels, colour and moisture content are provided with each batch. COA documentation is available for all granule supply.
